About the Role:

As our General Manager, you’ll organize and oversee the daily operations involving Production, Maintenance, Inventory, Shipping and Purchasing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with President/COO to make decisions for operations activities and set strategic goals.
  • Plan and monitor the day to day running of our operations to ensure smooth progress.
  • Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Help staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
  • Evaluate the efficiencies of standard operating procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
  • Continually develop leadership skills.
  • Educate, train, monitor, problem-solve and ensure that company policies are followed by all employees.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive working atmosphere.
  • Ensure proper training and cross training is provided to employees to ensure all training matrixes are kept up to date.
  • Participate and/or make recommendations regarding capital expenditure improvements.
  • Ensure successful launch of new products according to timelines and due dates.
  • Assist President/COO with special projects upon request.
  • Participate in R&D activities upon request of CEO, President/COO or R&D Senior Manager.
  • Complete all other reasonable tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

·      5+ years of experience managing warehouses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·      Proven track record of implementing and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production goals.

·      Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines.

·      Extensive experience supervising and motivating teams, including senior-level employees, to achieve operational goals.

·      Strong understanding of warehouse best practices, safety procedures, and quality control processes.

·      Manufacturing background (personal care products industry is a plus).

·      Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in warehouse management.
