Swimmers continue to look to us for solutions to their hair issues. In years past, we as an industry sold clarifiers and purifiers because that was all that was available from professionals to their clients. Clarifiers and purifiers might be effective for removing product buildup, but the deepest cleansers with a high pH are not what swimmers need. Swimmers do not have dirty hair; they have a buildup of minerals and oxidizers such as chlorine that will discolor, damage, and can cause breakage.
